What about Haley?

IMG_1089Haley is a Sales and Events professional at Inn at Laurel Point where she consistently strives for Service Excellence and thrives in the creativity of an independently owned and operated hotel. Prior to this position, Haley has also worked for international hotel enterprises including Fairmont Hotels and Resorts International, as well as Starwood Hotels and Resorts. Haley credits much of her experience to her well-rounded education. After graduating from the Hospitality Management program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Haley continued on to The University of Victoria where she graduated from the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Specialization in Service Management.

In her time outside of the office Haley contributes to multiple organizations as a participant, mentor and leader. These organizations include Skills Alberta – Restaurant Services, Skills/Compétences Canada – National Youth Forum; APEC Youth Skills Development Camp, Prodigy Group and JDC West 2015 Organizing Committee.

Considering the global reach of the hospitality industry, Haley has taken the opportunity to study and work abroad on a few different occasions. Study exchanges and international development workshops took her to China, Taiwan, Mexico and Australia. Haley’s international experiences truly enable her to think globally and act locally.

    Haley! This blog is amazing, yet I’m not surprised. You’re a media QUEEN. Your Victoria section almost made me cry. I am extremely jealous of all the new people you are going to meet this summer, they don’t know what a good friend they are about to make!
